Player Tracker

Goal: help a football club's recruitment team spot the right signings earlier.

The problem

The club's recruitment staff wanted to spot transfer targets early. The match and player data they needed was spread across several sources and formats, and comparing players meant working through it by hand.

What I built

A platform that turns match and player data into a ranked player ladder for the club's acquisition planning. I handled every layer: the Flask API and the data analysis that scores players in Python, a Vue single-page app that staff can move around quickly, and the DevOps to deploy and run it.

Result

The club uses it in its acquisition planning and was happy with how it developed. I still run it and add features based on what its users ask for.
