Experience
7 years, 5 teamsLead Solutions Engineer · Lighthouse Sports
- Built Player Tracker, a football talent-tracking platform for a Danish club. It uses match and player data to rank players on a ladder the club's recruitment staff use to plan signings.
- Owned the whole stack: the Flask (Python) API, the data analysis behind the rankings, a Vue single-page front-end, and the DevOps to deploy and run it.
- Built the data ingestion engine that pulls match, squad and player data from several providers and matches the same player across sources, so the rankings rest on one consistent dataset.
- Keep running and improving the platform, shipping features that come straight from the club staff's feedback.

- Built a Python scraper that collects league statistics, cleans and tabulates them, and stores them on AWS.
- Built a Laravel and Vue platform on top of that data: an API plus charts and tables that show how players and teams change from one period to the next.
- Scouts and clients used it to read complex league data at a glance and make recruitment decisions sooner.
- Also built a Laravel and Stripe player management system.
